We had the pleasure of knowing Al through his daughter Melissa and her family. We enjoyed seeing him at their barbeques and other family functions and always enjoyed his great sense of humor. He was a nice man, easy going and friendly and we will miss him. Our condolences to his family and friends.

Alfred was an American Hero. A member of our American Legin Post 694, Northport, New York. Alfred spoke at our last meeting on 02/06/2019, sharing with us his trip to Texas to visit the decommissioning of a battleship that he served on built in 1914. He told us he loved the Legion and all the members. We will miss Al and his constant warm smiles.
