Obituary of John Gerald Meagher
MEAGHER - John Gerald, MD, 88, of Huntington on October 16, 2018. He gratefully served the Huntington community for 58 years at Huntington Hospital. Beloved husband of Carol. Loving father of Jerry, Ellen Lebrevelec (Peter), Ned (Victoria), Jennifer Dupree (Joseph), and Rob (Lauren). Cherished grandfather of Keegan, Olivia, Kieran, Rocco (Robert), Maeve, Trevan, Finn, Katie, Jocelyn, Julia, Fitzy, the late Max and his adoring dogs Mandy and Reilly. Visitation Thursday and Friday from 2-5 and 7-9 PM at M.A. Connell Funeral Home, 934 New York Avenue, Huntington Station. Mass Saturday 9:15 AM at St. Patrick's Church. In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to VNS Hospice of Northport in his memory.
