To the family of Mr. Gillon,
I am sending you my heartfelt thoughts and prayers. I did not know Mr. Gillon, but I am familiar with someone who suffered with Pulmonary Fibrosis. It took my mother at 71. She suffered for years, and was grueling at the end of her life. Trying to comfort you and your family is difficult as I know first hand of the pain of watching someone you love slip away with them looking into your eyes begging to live. Please accept my condolences and my prayers for Mr. Gillon. As I sit here and type this to you, I am crying. There isn't a day that goes by that I don't miss my mother and I don't think about what she went through and suffered with. This disease is a horrible thing for anyone to live with and die with. I wish for my family and for yours, that no one else feels this pain that we do. Wishing there was more you could have done or researched or getting a transplant, anything..rather than nothing you can do, but be by there side and wish them all the love you can, and making it by a minute while they past away barely holding your hand, and saying its ok, you can go. It is forever in my head everyday, as I am sure yours as well. Please feel free to contact me to talk or share stories or just pay respects to each others families.
