Jim Altenhein was a mensch <3 :))))
(Mensch means "a person of integrity and honor." "someone to admire and emulate, someone of noble character. The key to being 'a real mensch' is nothing less than character, rectitude, dignity, a sense of what is right, responsible, decorous."[2] The term is used as a high compliment, expressing the rarity and value of that individual's qualities.
A mentsh is a particularly good person, like "a stand-up guy", a person with the qualities one would hope for in a dear friend or trusted colleague.)
Jim read The Prayer of Saint Francis to me every night at bedtime which to him was 9pm. I am grateful to have this on voicemail.
I am missing you more than you'd have imagined.
Be in and at peace my friend

Jim was a great person who was always interesting to talk to about multiple subjects. He was a modest individual which is very refreshing in today's society. He would help out anyone who was in need. I will miss talking to him on our annual trip to Maine. Solid person. There should be more Jim Altenheims in this world.
