Adam J. Swicicki

November 16, 1974 – September 11, 2024

It is with heavy hearts that we announce the passing of Adam J. Swicicki, age 49, on September 11, 2024, in Boca Raton, FL. Born on November 16, 1974, in Huntington, NY, Adam was the cherished son of Karen West, lovingly known as Nana K.

Adam was a man of contrasts—a larger-than-life personality who could be fiercely stubborn but also deeply loyal to those he loved. As the eldest brother to Jason and Dawn, he took his role seriously, though it wasn't always easy. Adam and Jason shared a bond that only brothers can understand—sometimes at odds but always bound by an unbreakable connection. Beneath the disagreements and moments of tension, there was an unmistakable friendship and loyalty that defined their relationship.

Adam had a close relationship with his mother, Karen. She had worked alongside him at The Water Doctor years ago, and in recent years, Karen and Adam would visit each other weekly, often spending time together with his daughter, Sophia. Their bond was strong, and Karen will forever cherish those moments with her son and granddaughter.

Adam had a teasing yet deeply affectionate relationship with his younger sister, Dawn, whom he lovingly called "Princess." While the nickname was often used in jest, it reflected the care and protection he felt for her. His playful nature and the love behind it will be deeply missed by Dawn, who will forever cherish the bond they shared.

Adam’s children, AJ from his first marriage and Sophia, born six years ago, were important parts of his life. While his path as a father wasn’t always straightforward, his love for his children was undeniable. Sophia, in particular, brought new joy into his life, and his relationship with Micheline, Sophia’s mother, remained one of mutual respect and support. Even after their marriage ended, they stayed close as partners in raising their daughter.

Adam’s nieces and nephews—Corey, Haleyan, and Lily (children of Jason and Tara), and Jack and Tyler (children of Dawn and Chris)—held a special place in his heart. He enjoyed being part of their lives and treasured the time spent with them as family.

Adam had many lifelong friendships, being part of a tight-knit group of friends he grew up with. These relationships lasted through the years and brought a richness to his life that he valued deeply. His friends, like his family, were an important part of who he was.

Adam shared many dreams and plans with his brother Jay and cousin Bryan. The three often talked about getting their families together for future trips, creating memories they were all excited for. Adam’s sudden passing has left a void, and life for his family and friends will never be the same without him.

Known for his sharp sense of humor, strong will, and at times, a fiery temper, Adam was a man who made an impression. His complexity didn’t overshadow the deep love and care he had for his family. Though not always easy to get along with, Adam had a huge heart, especially when it came to those he loved.

As the owner and manager of The Water Doctor in Delray Beach, FL, Adam approached work with the same intensity he brought to life. His dedication to his business was evident in his early mornings and commitment to his employees. He built a reputation for hard work and leadership that will be remembered by those who worked alongside him.

Adam’s life was full of challenges and joys, humor and heart. He will be remembered for his bold personality, his love for his children, and the lasting impact he had on those around him.

He will be greatly missed by his family, friends, and all who were touched by his life.
