Both my wife and I share your grieving ! Vincent was a special kind of guy, once you met him , he remains in your heart. We go way back to our early 20s, both he and Terry were blessed to have so many years together. We now live in Colorado, but our thoughts and prayers are with Terry and there family. Love. I met Vin 20 years ago on my wedding day in Malibu California. Little did I know what a huge impact he would have on my life. Vin was a true kind hearted GENTLEMAN! He used his words and not his volume or tone to convey his sentiments. He was a role model to my husband Benedict Monasseri. He taught him and others the priceless value of usefulness. The wife/mother/spouse had already shopped, prepped and cooked the meal. The least the husband/son/man could do is clear the table and do the dishes. My husband has done this for twenty years because of Vin. I will and am eternally grateful to him for this. Vin was my dark chocolate, NFL football, Law & Order watching buddy. I love him dearly!!! R.I.P Vin! Love you lots! Ana Monasseri

Vinny was always a wonderful neighbor, who was respected by everyone in our community. I'd like to share an incident, which will provide the reader with an understanding of how Vinny functioned.
I called for an ambulance for my daughter who was in acute kidney failure. We had just experienced a hurricane, which left tree limbs and branches strewn along our street, making our street nearly impassable. The ambulance arrived and was not able to get to my home. Realizing what was happening, Vinny ran in the street and began to drag many heavy limbs and debris to the curb, making the road just passable enough for the ambulance in that section. The ambulance was able to make it down the block, but bypassed my house. Vinny ran after the ambulance, motioning with debris in his hand, where the ambulance driver needed to go. He remained outside as the EMT's brought my daughter on a stretcher, giving her words of encouragement, telling her that she would be OK.
What Vinny did that day, was a testimony to the kind of person he was. In his quiet way, he never mentioned what he had done again. He never expected to be praised, apart from a simple thank you. His reward was that he had helped to save his neighbor's life.
