Dear Deb, Nick, & Mike: Mr. Connell was simply a GREAT guy. That sounds like too bland an adjective, but I think very few people live up to it. He was kind and generous and always smiling and so proud of his kids (and son-in-law!). Great sense of humor, too, as I recall. I am so glad he lived to meet great-grandchildren! I have such warm, fond memories of both Mr. & Mrs. Connell and, amid all the sadness here on Earth, I am comforted to imagine them together in Heaven. I hope that notion brings comfort to all their loved ones as well.

We send our love and wraparoudn condolences to all of you for this great loss. Our entire family will always cherish the memories we have with Debbie's special father John "Eddie" Connell. The photo taken is of the Connell Berghela family and the families of Cliff and Jill Landsman the evening before one of the two Nick and Caitlin weddings. Eddie looks great and happy. I am so sorry to hear of your Dad’s passing. He was a wonderful man and will always be remembered by so many of us as a kind and compassionate man. I speak for my husband Charlie (Pagano-deceased) and myself when I say he was always very good and generous to us and will be missed by so many people in Huntington. I pray that you will find peace in knowing that he’s now with his beloved wife.
