I first met Bob when he was starting out in the industry. He had a coffee plantation in Venezuela and wanted rooms at a hotel I represented there. Since that time his company grew and prospered as did our friendship. In recent years we were great email pals. I loved his humor and look on life. It has been difficult because I can't pass along emails to get this thoughts on them. I will miss him greatly and know he is looking down on us smiling. My condolences to Marilyn and the rest of the family and my prayers go out to you all.

Bob and I travelled that route together. Born in Puerto Rico also moved to New York, worked for Trans Caribbean, opened my own travel agency and now retired. Shared our experiences and his health condition Till his final days. An unforgettable friendship. God bless him. My condolences to his family

Bob was both a legend in the travel industry, a great Father, husband, and an amazing influence in my life, and in that of my family. He and Marilyn were so kind to my Mother, opening their home and letting her stay and experience NYC with them. I regarded Bob as a second Father and he guided me well over my travel career. I was proud to work with Inter Islands in the early days of the IIT/CC.com relationship. Together with Greg and Jim Hobbs, we took on the big guys and accomplished great things. I know that made Bob very happy. I will miss Bob’s stories, humor, viewpoints, candor and passion for enjoying life to the full. He never let minor physical inconveniences slow him down as he grew older. I will miss him. The world is an emptier place without him.
