Obituary of Marie Rose Crisco

“She was more than happy to be the central figure

in the lives of her children.  

Anyone who know them know that she was the star in their eyes,

and that’s all that ever mattered to her.”

Our precious mother, Marie Crisco, 80 of Huntington, NY passed away on Tuesday, October 3^rd, 2023 after a very brief illness.  She peacefully passed into the kingdom of heaven surrounded by her children. 

Marie was born on March 1^st, 1943 to Frank and Mary Scarantino in Brooklyn.  After graduating, she married and relocated to Smithtown, NY where she raised her three children, Denise, Dina and Richard.  These were the best days of her life.

After raising her three children, she carried out her dream of moving to New York City and pursued a career in the cosmetic industry working for prestigious companies including Shiseido, Christian Dior and more.

Marie was most passionate about family gatherings when all her children & grandchildren were together. This was her biggest joy and loved to prepare by cooking amazing meals that she put her heart and soul into.  She loved to travel to visit family in Italy, California and beyond! 

Most of all, Marie devoted her entire life to her children and grandchildren, and she will live eternally through them. 

Marie was predeceased by her Grandson, Joseph Munch, her parents, Cataldo Frank & Mary Scarantino and brother, Salvatore Scarantino.   She is survived by her children, Denise Crisco, Dina Crisco-Munch and Richard Crisco, her son-in-law, George Munch, her daughters-in-law’s Tess Banfield and Bonnie Crisco, her grandchildren, Hannah Crisco, Michael Crisco and Richard Munch and sister-in-law, Pat Scarantino.  She is also survived by cousins, nephews, nieces & friends.
