Obituary of Margaret "Peggy" R. Evans

Evans, Margaret (Peggy), 86, of Huntington, passed away on September 26th, 2023. Beloved wife of the late Kenneth.  Loving Mother of seven children.  Adoring Grandmother of twelve and Great-Grandmother of two. Beloved sister of Elizabeth Lee and Aunt and Grand Aunt to many nieces and nephews.  Peggy lived a life of service, devoting 30 plus years as a Registered Nurse at Huntington Hospital and as a decades-long parishioner at St. Francis of Assisi in Greenlawn. Visitation Sunday, 2-7 PM at M.A. Connell Funeral Home, 934 New York Avenue, Huntington Station.  Funeral Mass Monday 10 AM, at St. Francis of Assisi church, 29 Clay Pitts Road, Greenlawn.  Interment to follow at Calverton National Cemetery.  In lieu of flowers the family asks for donations be made in Margaret's name to St. Jude Children's Hospital   https://raise.stjude.org/fundraiser/4994130
