Sending thoughts and prayers to Aunt Rosemary, cousins Brian, Laurie, Paul, and Chris (and extended family), and Aunt Patricia. I have many pleasant memories of family gatherings throughout the years both in Pa and on Long Island. I will never forget the rocket scientist Uncle Bruce calculating for me that the huge pine tree in my back yard would never fall on the house in a wind storm. I think about him fondly every time I hear the wind rustling through its branches. Love to all of you, Sue and daughter Christen

Focolare Community, since that I didn't have the opportunity to spend much time with him, but in the few moments that we share, I consider that he was a very pleasant and nice person. Dear Rosemary and Family, I met Bruce through you and the Focolare Movement. I live on the eastern end of Long Island, and we often had weekend or day trips to the Bronx and Hyde Park for meetings and retreats. Many times, Bruce (and Rosemary) offered me a backseat in their car. Bruce drove us fast, fearlessly and safely upstate through the bridges and the traffic. It didn’t occur to me then, that my driver was a former NASA rocket scientist who had successfully engineered the Apollo moon landing. Of course he brought me safely to our destination, every time.
