Mike was my younger brother but he was my big brother at 6’-3” and some of my fondest memories we’re playing basketball across the street from our house growing up. When Mike was younger I pretty much had my way with him on the court. THEN he grew much tall than me with more skills and proceeded whip my behind on a regular basis, as our father had predicted. Good times good memories, Rest In Peace my BIG brother !!! This is a photo that Mike took and a drawing that Mike did of me taking a hook shot in our driveway !!!

Well his son Micheal Murphy is my son Gaetano’s best friend and last year his best man at his wedding. Therefore I have made many trips back and forth to the Murphy home and of course saw his fathers warm smile and sense of humor many times. I also ran into Mikes parents at the airport years ago as Mikes dad was not able to board until security check him. Why would anyone have to question this kind man? Mikes dad said with a name like Michael Murphy he’s one every list you can imagine. Good man Mikes dad and sooooi proud of his sons Mike. Madeline Abbene also know as Gaetano’s Momm

My tall handsome kind hearted brother. He was always always the sweetest child, a lovely man and a delight to be around. He didn’t suffer fools and kept his own peace. I so loved being his “sis”!!! He was one of a kind in our family and that’s saying something.
