My thoughts and prayers go out to the entire Alnwick family. I remember meeting Stylie as we knew him at Castleton State College. He always had a smile on his face and a twinkle in his eye. His laugh was contagious! I remember his as being kind and thoughtful but always up for an adventure. MTSND!

ALNWICK meaning- A farm on the river Aln…..
Many years ago my Family first met Mike and Katrina at Steve and Elicia LaPorta’s for Cocktail's … and I knew that Mike and Katrina were more than just a random couple from the neighborhood, they became more than that , They became like family because when you meet your families neighbors they typically do not show up at family functions, special holidays and perform Random acts of craziness , unless they are family. I will miss the Lobster fests , holiday parties , fun times at Centerport harbor , especially the beach fun and his crazy love of Music ! I will miss his laugh and smile the most!
We will miss you and pray for Katrina and the kids …..I’ll see you one day on the river Aln with a cold one….

What can I say Mike. We laughed a lot when we were in High School and the years after. Some tidbits.
I remember us leaving school to go play pool at Harpers. Or working at the Shore Movie Theater we were working and getting paid to watch movies and hang out. Having light bulb fights on the cat walk with Tom the manager. We never wanted to go home at night because we were having too much fun hanging out with everyone. We helped drive your parents nuts! Sorry Mr. & Mrs. Alnwick..lol.. You had a great sense of humor Mike and you brought out the best of us.
God bless you Katrina and your entire Family. God bless you bro!
Rest In Peace Mike

Mike Alnwick was a rock star. He was the coolest guy I knew. From the first time I laid eyes on him in the hallway of Finley Jr High to the last time I saw him at his home, he delighted me. His authenticity, confidence, strength, beauty, grace, kindness, and spirit of fun were unmatched. I will miss him calling me his "favorite liberal" (I'm sure there were many of us because he was filled with love for all comers) and I will miss him. Forever. Rest in Peace Mike, may your joyful spirit be free.
