Rich was a wonderful man, husband, father, grandfather and friend to all! As a neighbor, we had lots of laughs at our summer barbecues. Don always called him "The Admiral" which he loved! He was a wonderful friend and neighbor and never said "no" if Don needed to borrow anything from his garage. We will miss him dearly.
Love, Lorraine & Don

From the day we moved in 3 years ago right next to you and Chris, I immediately knew we were in the right place. After my first conversation with you I knew we had the best neighbors we could have possibly asked for. Once I realized we all came from the Huntington area and even went to the very same church, it was like living next to family. You and Chris have been so welcoming and friendly to us that we did not feel like the new "kids" on the block. The way you helped the veterans by driving them around showed us the kind and caring person you were. The way you helped out at the men's club dinner was amazing. We are so very sorry to lose you so soon. We will miss you dearly.
May you rest in peace Rich.
Love, Brenda and Jeff

We always had such a great time making antipasto for the Men’s Club dinner. Rich procured all the ingredients and organized the club volunteers with military precision. The result was the best antipasto ever. We had so many laughs on those days and I wouldn’t miss them for anything. He was also an American patriot who walked the walk and didn’t just talk the talk. A great American and wonderful person who will be missed by so many of us.
