Elio DiBiase posted a condolence
Thursday, August 1, 2024
My name is Elio DiBiase. I met Anthony when we were about 12 years old and both lived on Ellis ave. In the Bronx. We were very close and sort of grew up together. He was a friend when I needed a friend. We lost touch after he married and I always regretted that. He was someone that I can say I loved. May he rest in peace.

There will only ever be one Mr. C. I met him as a 14-year-old boy. He immediately took me under his wing. Somehow, he knew I needed that. My Dad passed when I was 16 and he subtly assumed that role. He guided me through the most difficult period of my life. He took me on my first vacation. He bought me my first suit. He helped me get my first job and he sponsored me throughout my early adult years. He taught me things that at the time seemed so insignificant, yet I regularly find myself teaching these same things to my own children. I will be forever grateful for the kindness and compassion he showed me. He was perhaps the most influential person in my life. Rest in Peace Mr. C. You lived a Hall of Fame life here on earth - I am certain your calling is even higher now. Love you.

Anthony was a wonderful addition to my work life about 40 years ago. He instantly became a friend and someone I have always held in the highest respect. MJ & I enjoyed spending time with Patricia & Anthony over the years when we would each talk (brag about) our families. I always had a great laugh when Anthony told the story about his and my “ whirlwind trip” to Europe on the company’s private plane. It truly was fun and Anthony spread his magic among our salesmen and saleswoman But it fell into the category of “ If this is Tuesday we must be in Belgium”. We visited 5 countries in 3 days and had such a fantastic time together.
I can say this about very few people who worked on Wall Street……Anthony was loved and respected by the hundreds maybe thousands of people he worked with over his long brilliant career. We will honor his memory. Peter J DaPuzzo

Lighting a candle to honor beautiful memories, to celebrate a gracious spirit and remembering a wonderful friend. You were truly one in a million . . . You made us laugh, you made us smile, you gave us so much joy. Now the heavens are brighter by one more Star! Rest In Peace, Anthony. Our thoughts and prayers go out to Patricia and the family.
