Obituary of Bruce J. Forst aka Scott Forst
Bruce J. Forst, a.k.a. Scott Forst, of Lake Ronkonkoma, New York, passed away peacefully on May 20, 2022, at the age of 82 in Huntington Station, New York.
Bruce was born to the late Ferdinand and Mildred Forst and is the brother of Sonya Patricia (Carpenter/ Demshick, deceased, 1974) and Fritzie Lynn (Pisarski).
In 1964, he married Frances Rose, (deceased, 2020). He is survived by their daughter, Cherie (Forst) Castellano and her husband Stephen of Nesconset, NY; son, Scott Forst and his wife April (Methot) Forst of Wayland, MA; and grandchildren, Briana Castellano, Kristina Castellano, Gabriella Castellano, Stephen Castellano, Eliana Forst and William Forst.
He was a proud Marine, a semi-pro baseball player, a police officer and detective, and a very talented artist.
In lieu of flowers, the family requests donations be made in Bruce’s memory to Toys For Tots.
