Obituary of Andrew F. Mannarino

Mannarino, Andrew (Andy) F., of Huntington Station, passed away on March 25 at the age of 94. Beloved husband of Sandy, to whom he was married for 64 years and who predeceased him in 2015. Andrew leaves behind his two adoring daughters, Florence Kerner and Catherine Carpentieri, and son-in-laws Joseph Kerner and Mark Carpentieri. He was loved and cherished by his five grandchildren, Rebecca Kerner Papa and husband Phillip Papa, Michael Kerner and fiancé Adi Foord, Anna Carpentieri and fiancé Kaelem Camper, Nicholas Carpentieri and girlfriend Angelina Falino, and Amelia Carpentieri. He was delighted to welcome into the world his great grandson, Jack. Andrew was a native of Brooklyn, attended Brooklyn College and earned his JD from New York Law School, after serving in the U.S. Marine Corps during WWII. He worked as a lawyer and as an executive with Allstate Insurance Company for over 40 years. Andrew was a deeply dedicated husband, father, grandfather, great-grandfather and member of the community. His presence was felt by all who met him and he gave generously of his time, interest and guidance. His love, care, warmth and humor will be sorely missed.
