Obituary of Mary Bogart

Mary Campbell Bogart, a resident of Greenlawn, formerly of Valley Stream for over 60 years, passed away peacefully on February 22,2022. Mary was the beloved wife of John Bogart for 52 years until his death in 1999. She was a devoted mother to Kevin (deceased), Gregory (Risa) Veronica (Robert Searing) and Karen (John Winterlich). Loving grandmother of Lauren Yun, Kevin Searing, Marisa Kaufman, Kelly Bogart, Brooke and Paige Winterlich. Cherished great grandmother of Julian Kaufman, Viktoria, Robert and Vyacheslav Searing. Mary loved being with her family, especially time spent later in life with her grandchildren and great- grandchildren which brought her much joy. She was a devout Catholic her entire life. Mary’s strong faith helped her through the loss of her eldest son and then of her husband years later. She was a resourceful, strong, faithful and creative woman. Mary is also survived by her sister, Diana Owens and many nieces and nephews who were loved dearly. She was predeceased by her other three siblings, John, Thomas and Eleanor.
