Obituary of Martin S. Engel

90, of Northport, passed away on January 29, 2022. Proud Army veteran and member of the 1952 Olympic Team. Beloved husband of the late Marilyn. Loving father of Jennifer Engel-Fillekes (Matthew Fillekes). Cherished grandfather of Marilyn and Asher. He is also survived by his sister-in-law, Suzanne Jenkins; brother-in-law, Ron Hains; nephew Jeff Jenkins and niece, Lisa Chaplinski. Memorial Visitation Wednesday 5-9 PM at M.A. Connell Funeral Home, 934 New York Ave., Huntington Station. A service will be held Wednesday 8PM at the funeral home.
