Obituary of Marjorie Louise Ellis

Ellis, Marjorie L, passed away on Nov. 6, 2021 at age 96. Born in Brooklyn, NY, June 2, 1925 to father James and mother Louise Troise. She lived most of her life in Huntington Station, NY, 20 years in Clearwater, Florida, and the last 3 years in Charlotte, NC. She was a graduate of South Huntington High School, class of 1943. She married Francis Joseph Ellis II on May 14, 1950 at St. Hugh's of Lincoln Catholic Church. She worked at JC Penny for a few years on 33th street in Manhattan where she met her husband Frank. Much of her adult life she was a housewife. A loving mother, wife, grandmother, and great grandmother, Marjorie had two passions in her life: her family and her faith in God. She is survived by: • Her 5 sons James (Gale), Mark (Marion), Keith (Kathy), Francis, and Michael (Diana). • Seven grandchildren, Jameson, Melissa, Max, Leah, Travis, Matina and Maria. • Six great grandchildren, Travis, Jada, Luca, Madison, Miyah, and Marlee. • One sister, Joan. Preceded in death by her husband Frank, her parents, her sister Eleanor, and her brother Pasquale (Pat). A kind, loving, saintly woman, she will be fondly remembered by her family, her many nieces and nephews, and her friends.
