Obituary of Maureen T. Murphy

Maureen T. Murphy (née O’Sullivan), 81, mom, wife, homemaker has died. Her family confirmed that she died Sunday, September 5, 2021, at home surrounded by her loving children after a long illness. She was born October 13, 1939 in the Bronx. She married her childhood sweetheart, Peter J. Murphy, who predeceased her in 2015. She was the only child of Daniel and Bridget O’Sullivan (both deceased). She is survived by her children Patti and John Wagner, Jeanne and Bob Washuta, and Maureen and Chris Beil; her grandchildren Peter John (Katie) Wagner, Andrew (Julie) Wagner, Tim (Jessica) Wagner, Meaghan (Kevin Bilzi) Wagner, Luke Beil, Matt Washuta, Ryan (Toni) Beil, Kevin Beil, Natalie Washuta, Conor Beil, Audrey Washuta and Mackenzie Beil; and six great grandchildren Jake Wagner, Charlotte Wagner, Chase Wagner, Annie Wagner, Michael Wagner and Charlie Wagner. Due to Covid precautions, a private funeral mass will be held at St. Patrick’s Church. Followed by interment at Pinelawn Memorial Park.
