My heartfelt condolences to Mrs. Uvena and the Uvena family on Mr. Uvena's passing. He was a major part of our childhood and adult life on Aquaview Court. A wonderful and always exuberant greeting any time I visited my parents in Huntington. We have so many fond memories of the Uvena family. May he rest in peace. An amazing life. MAY UNCLE JIMMY REST IN ETERNAL PEACE FLYING HIGH ON ANGEL’S WINGS FINDING THE BEST GOLF COURSE IN HEAVEN. HE LOVED GOLF AND PLAYED WELL UNTIL HIS LATE 90’s. HE LOVED GOING TO THE GOLF TOURNAMENT SPONSORED BY THE ELKS CLUB IN HONOR OF MY DAD “BIFF”. ONE OF THE “GREATEST GENERATION” HE FOUGHT IN WORLD WAR II FOR OUR COUNTRY & WAS A PROUD VET. HE LIVED A LONG LIFE AND WAS HAPPILY MARRIED TO AUNT MAE. HE WAS THE OLDEST UVENA SON, LIVING UNTIL 102 & LOVED BY ALL HE MET. WE WILL MISS HIS ZEST FOR LIFE & HIS SMILE. R.I.P. WITH ALL YOUR BROTHERS & SISTERS NOW IN GOD’S CARE.
