Allen, Gerald Michael, age 80 of Huntington, NY passed away suddenly on March 23, 2021. He is survived by his beloved wife of 57 years, Diane Allen. Loving and devoted father of Brian, Kevin (Helen), Christine Clark (Joe) and Laura Seedman (Mark). Adoring grandfather of Courtney Scott, Dillon Platt (Lexi Hernandez), Ryan Scott, Madeline Platt, Bonnie Allen and Henry Allen. Jerry is also survived by his siblings, Samuel (Anita), Madelyn Chadwick (Ray) and Maryann Allen and many nieces and nephews. Jerry grew up in Greenlawn, NY and graduated from Huntington High School. He was employed for many years at Royal Waste Services in Jamaica Queens and was still working at the time of his passing. Jerry considered his co-workers as his family and developed a special bond with them all. Visitation for Jerry will take place on Saturday, March 27, 2021 from 4:00 pm – 8:00 pm at M.A. Connell Funeral Home, 934 New York Avenue, Huntington Station, NY.
