Obituary of John Reardon

John Joseph Reardon, 86, of Southold formerly of Cold Spring Harbor, NY passed away on February 21, 2021. Beloved husband of the late Elizabeth (nee: Malone) for 56 years. Devoted and loving father of James (Kim), Elizabeth (Marc) DeTour, Patricia, John (Teresa) and Michael (Elisa). Adored grandfather of Alea, Robert, Jack, Emma, Lily, Isabella, Nicolas, Anabelle, Michael Malone and Matthew. Dear brother of Marie Prusak and the late Charles, Jean, Anne Mayer and Robert. He is survived by several nieces and nephews who called him “Uncle Jack.” He will always be remembered for his loving, warm spirit by everyone he met, and for his generous charitable contributions. He founded Rosemont Press Inc., a printing company, with his brother Charles in 1962. The company continues to be run by the Reardon family today. Visitation Friday 4-8 PM at M.A. Connell Funeral Home, 934 New York Ave., Huntington Station. Funeral Mass Saturday 9:15 AM at St. Patrick’s Church, Huntington. Interment to follow at St. Patrick’s Cemetery, Huntington.
