Obituary of Herbert G Walker

Herb Walker was born and raised in Huntington Station New York on August 28, 1951. He was 69 years old. On December 12, 2020, surrounded by family he peacefully passed away. He is survived by his loving wife Mary and was a devoted father to Daniel Walker (Leah) and Victoria Weiss ( Christopher). He was the proud and loving "Poppi" to Owen, Katie, Wyatt and Emily. A devoted brother to Gerald Walker and the late Ronald and Jeffrey Walker. Herb was a Life Member of the Huntington Manor Fire Department; dedicating many years of service to the community and working with his brother firemen. He was a proud Army veteran who served during the years of 1969 - 1972. Herb continued to serve as a member of the American Legion Riders within the American Legion Post 1244. In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to St. Jude Children's Hospital.
