Cathi was an amazing mother, not only to her own children, but she also acted as a second mother to so many of Katie's friends (myself included). She was so welcoming and treated us like we were part of the family. Cathi and I became friends through Katie and my daughter Jenny. They have been best friends for nearly 20 years and I feel as though we raised these girls together. Katie is a 2nd daughter to us and always will be - just as Cathi was a 2nd mom to Jenny. Because of Katie and Jenny's friendship I gained a dear friend who I miss already. The last time we met for lunch was March 6, 2020 - literally right before the lockdown began. I am so thankful we managed to have that time together and I will be forever thankful for her friendship. Without exception, she was the first person to reach out and help whenever that was needed over the last 20 years. Cathi's love for her family was endless. We send you all our love and sympathy. Cathi's daughter Katie has been my best friend for 19 years, since we were 8 years old. Growing up, I spent countless hours always welcomed in Cathi's loving home, and she became a second mom to me who I love so much.
