It is with great sadness that we announce the passing of our loved one, Carol Wissner, 81, who passed away on Saturday, October 17, 2020.
Carol was born in New York, and was the daughter of the late Herbert and Sally Groelinger. She was a longtime member of the Huntington Community First Aid Squad. She was deeply committed and involved there, and had previously acted as Assistant Chief. She was devoted and dedicated to her family and grandchildren.
She will be missed very much by her husband Allen, her daughters Leslie(Vincent), Melanie(Brendan) and Elizabeth(Daniel), her brother James(Eleanor) and her grandchildren Jacob and Sophia.
Memorial Visitation will be held on Saturday, November 14, 2020 from 4:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. at M.A. Connell Funeral Home at 934 New York Avenue, Huntington Station, NY. The burial service will be held at Calverton National Cemetery, 210 Princeton Blvd, Calverton, NY, on Monday November 16, 2020 at 11:00 a.m.
