To the Colevecchio Family,
I just posted a small message and regret not typing about my memories of Mike.
We grew up together with homes separated by the distance of probably a football field. The concerts we attended together Billy Squier and Queen 15th row MSG, David Bowie at MSG, the Police w/Joan Jett and REM at Shea Stadium, the Cars too many times at Nassau Coliseum, and Triumph. We had such a great time growing up together and I’ll never forget one of our last times together before our adult lives unfortunately faded the friendship…
Good trip to Buffalo to see you at your college. I wish we kept in touch but I’m saying today I’m glad you are part of my memories.
I still laugh when I think about the shoes you threw up and were caught on the electric line by your house. Your mom yelled at you to get the shoes down and you told everyone “ in the power of me I command you to come down”…your mom was so upset with you. I still laugh at that.
Rest in peace friend, I wish we kept in touch.
Luv,
Will Schwartz

My greatest condolences to this family on having to bury their loved on Veterans Day. I hope that the Veterans Housing project that I advocated for in my neighborhood of Huntington Station New York will soon open and be filled with many males both white and non-white who understand respect and can mentor the youth living in this neighborhood where I have resided for twenty years of my fifty seven year life. Peace and respect to all.

I am so saddened by this news. I had several cases with Mike over the years and he was one of the smartest attorneys I have ever met. More than that he was a great guy who always talked about his family and the Mets. I hope that you find solace in knowing that his memory will live on with members of the bar and his friends. God bless Mike and God bless your family.
