I was surprised and very saddened to learn of Dr. Sforza passing. We worked together on parts of one of his books about the local history of the town as well as projects for the Historical Society. He was always such a pleasant person with a warm personality. I am certain that he and his dad, who I met a few times, are very happy together in heaven. My condolences to the family.

Dear Barbara and all of the Sforza Family, I was very sad to hear of Al's death. As a child, Al (along with Uncle Freddie) stand out in my memories as such kind and fun loving people. We were among the first of his dental patients- when the Santosus family came for their check ups he must have had to clear the entire afternoon to see all of us. Al and Barbara visited my father at the end of his life. Al spoke at Dad's funeral. Al and Barbara visited and cheered up my mother in the hospital recently. They were always there for us- smiles on their faces and warmth in their hearts. Barbara- my thoughts and prayers are with you- I hope you are doing ok. Love forever, Dorothy Santosus Rizzo

Al was always the life of the party! I still have some fillings in my mouth that Al put in as a child and I am 63 yrs old. What a wonderful example of what a Father, Husband, Dentist and a Friend should be to all who came across his path. If only we could celebrate one more holiday party at my parents home. Our extended family has been truly blessed over the many years. My sincere condolences to Barbera, Tony, Debbie & Sharon. . All our love to you. Lou ,Anne Marie & our 6 children

So sorry to hear about your loss. Al Sforza was truly a kind and generous man -- and my first dentist -- who always reminded me years after the fact that I was his first office streaker. I also appreciate Al's recent visit to my mom while she recovered in the hospital several weeks ago. The visit meant a lot to her -- and thus to me. I hope that the family can find similar solace at this time.
