Kieran Mock was an amazing Man. He gave his all and never showed his pain. My heart broke the day he left us and then I realized I was being selfish, he suffered so much and he is finally at peace when they say God has truly Gained an Angel his name is Kieran. My Prayers go out to his Family, it is never easy to loose a loved one especially someone as special as Kieran. Gone home to be with God but never forgotten always in our Hearts

A TRIBUTE TO KIERAN MOCK!
AN AMAZING MAN!
I start with sending my love and condolences to Mrs. Mock, Corey, Kyle , Ryan, and the rest of the Mock family!!!
No words can describe the loss you have suffered or fill the void of his presence. Mock left a lasting impact on my mother, my brother, my son and my nephew, as well as myself. My entire family sends our condolences!
As I wipe away the tears from my face, I feel the need to write this in his honor. Hoping that those who read it can understand how great of a man he was!
A role model is someone who shows commendable and exemplary characteristics and inspires everyone around him! Coach Mock was and always will be a role model, not just to me but to many others. Many knew him as Coach Mock, but that doesn't even begin to describe the true essence of the great man he was.
Mock was a wonderful husband and a great dad. He was a hard worker, a motivator, a confidence builder and most importantly an inspirer! He was a friend whose loyalty could never waiver. He always had your back. Mock was always there to pick you up if you fell and urge you to try again and keep striving for greatness. Mock was a father figure to many, giving words of wisdom to those who needed it most.
To me he was all of that and more! He was a leader, a father, a friend, a motivator, and most of all, he inspired me! Mock never turned his back on me, or told me I wasn't capable of being better... not just on the mat, but in life itself.
Mock was the definition of a great man! One who worked hard for everything he had. Mock was a coach when I wrestled in highschool and he was the head coach of Huntington high school wrestling when my son and nephew decided to first take up the sport. He invited us to come participate in open mats with a group of other kids that weren't yet high schoolers, including his sons, Kyle and Ryan, who were older then my kids. Big Charley Gadson and his son lil charlie were there and so was Mr. Aceri , and his son Johnny. Those open mats were bigger than wrestling. It was a chance for a group of fathers, young and old, to spend time with their kids. It was families building bonds, and those fathers helping me learn how to be a father myself. I will never forget those nights, they are some of the greatest memories in my young life, that I will forever cherish.
I remember Mock running those practices and encouraging all the fathers to be more involved, more communicative. That was the beauty of Coach Mock, he communicated with everyone, no matter their skill level. He would laugh and joke and flash that infectious smile he had. As much as he enjoyed loosing up the room, he managed to get the best out of everyone. When it was time to get down to business he knew how to motivate and his hard work mentality rubbed off on all. His practices were no joke. He pushed you to levels that you didnt know you could reach. He believed hard work payed off and tried to instill that in every kid he came in contact with. I even remember once and awhile Mock calling me out to be is practice dummy to show the kids how to do moves...and he would do the move with strength and force. Not because he wanted to let me know that he still had it, but because that is who he was. Mock never half-assed anything!
Its easy to say that Huntington wrestling lost a great wrestler, a great coach, and figure of the program. But to do that would be disrespectful to a man that gave this world so much much more then that.
Kieran Mock was the definition of what a man should be, I will never forget you Coach Mock, and I hope one day, that I can become half the man you were!!!!!
Rest In Peace,
Wesley Erickson and family
