I have the most amazing memories of my Uncle Joe my godfather. My visits to Huntington when I was a kid every summer I spent a few days with him and he and Barbara and the kids. I even got a job in the store working in the meat department with him. I was amazed watching him work. He always shared with me beautiful memories of my father who I lost when I was so young. He always made sure that I was OK I was raising two small kids on my own and he was always in touch. When he lived down in Florida he , Aunt Barbara , and Aunt Fran always made a trip to visit my mom, Even after my father died they are remained so very very close! I’ll always have a very soft spot in my heart for my Uncle Joe

We are so saddened to hear of the passing of Joe. We remember the kindness he rendered to my father. When times were difficult it was Joe who stepped in and gave my father the respect he so deserved. It is no wonder why my father had such a love for Joe. He was always there for our sons. He represented my parents at many important times for our sons. We are sure so many can tell of special times Joe and Barbara played such a special time in their lives, but we also have memories of the times they were there for us. Our hearts hurt tonight and express our deepest sympathy to his family.
