Diane and I were friends at Montefiore; she was a force, in a gentle way.
When I would pop into her office to do a meditation or guided imagery session, she would fill me in on her daughters, grandkids, and we woud share the latest in both of our lives.
I am sorry she was taken so soon, it was a pleasure to have known her, and please know she loved you all.
Be well,
Jeanne Kenney, RN,BSN,HNB-BC

I was Diane’s secretary in the mid-90’s at Huntington Hospital. She was truly the sweetest, kindest boss I’ve ever had. God Bless you, dear Diane.

So sad to hear of Diane's passing. We worked together at NSUH in the 70s. We were the first crew to work on 6 Tower in 1977. She was my friend, head nurse, and just an incredible leader. I have many wonderful memories of her and our times together.

To the family and loved ones of Diane. Diane was a woman who encouraged all those around her. As a new grad RN and a new leader of an council in Montefiore she came to me and said, "don't be afraid you have what it takes to lead this council" She did not know me, did not need to say anything to me. She sensed my anxiety came to encourage me. I will always be thankful for her words and her loving kindness. - May the peace of god be with you all in this time of sorrow. Joshua Daniel- RN

I didn't know Diane for very long but was so impressed with her knowledge and talent. She was so instrumental in guiding our nursing staff along the road to Magnet Status. She will be missed. Rest in peace.
