Obituary of Sandra L. Spira

Sandra Spira of Melville passed on December 15, 2018 at the age of 85. Raised in Great Neck where she attended Buckley Country Day school and later graduated from Friends Academy. She married the love of her life, the late Kurt Spira, and they moved to Melville to raise their family. She is survived by her son, Keith Spira (Mary) and Cindy Spira (Jerome Palumbo) as well as grandchildren Christopher Spira and Madison Palumbo, both her pride and joy. Our hearts radiate sadness as we mourn the passing of such a sweet spirit who taught us how to be more loving, have more patience and to be kinder to others. We know true happiness awaits our Mother, Grandmother and friend as she is joins her true love in the kingdom of God where they will finally be together forever in eternal peace. XO
