Dear Uncle Mark,
I want you to know that I am very sad to see that you have passed on. I know that you led a very valiant fight these last few years, and that I can be at peace knowing that you are no longer suffering and that you are in a much better place.
I remember when I saw you on Easter, and we were talking about everything going on with my situation, you told me to keep my head up and look forward to better days. When I heard you speak those words, and reflecting back on what you went through all these years, I have to say that I admired your optimism, and thought to myself, if he can be optimistic with what he’s gone through, so could I.
As a Nephew, I have to say that is a quality that I learned to admire and love about you, and for that, I will be forever grateful and thankful to you, for those great sentiments.
I truly hope and pray that you are at Peace, and enjoying your eternal reward which is definitely due to you in Heaven, with all of our loved family and friends that have gone before us. Please send my love to all there as you are greeted into Gods Heavenly Kingdom, and enjoy your Heavenly Banquet. You will surely and sadly be missed by us all, who loved you and still love you and always will.
I also want to say “Thank You” to you for many things I have not mentioned above. Thank you for being a Wonderful Husband to my Aunt Monica. Thank you for being an Amazing Father to Connor and Jack. Thank you for being a Great Son-in-Law to my Beloved Nanny. And thank you for being a cool Uncle, and for just being who you are!
I hope that you Rest in Eternal Peace forever, and may God hold you in the palm of his hand, and may perpetual light shine upon you always! Till we meet again.
