I first met Frank at Advest back in the 90's and enjoyed his friendship and professionalism. He was always the stable force during the turbulent times in the financial industry. Frank also had a way of seeing value and understanding management's talents. We reconnected at Keefe Managers and picked up where we left off as partners. He will truly be missed.

Frank was one of our favorite Investment bankers. He helped us out through many of blackest times in the banking world. He a had a mind of creating opportunities when things seemed helpless. He created many banking opportunities while working at Advest, Inc. Frank was a great man and well respected amongst his Banking peers. He had a knack of always coming up roses. May you rest in peace.
Sincerely,
The Moynihan's

Please accept my expressions of sorrow on hearing of Frank's passing. Frank and I worked together many years ago when he was at Merrill and I was the contact person at Seafirst. Unlike virtually all his peers, Frank was always professional, gentlemanly and even tempered, even when we might have widely differing views and understandings. Over the years I learned a great deal from Frank and hopefully he learned a little about the Pacific Northwest. Over the years after we both changed careers, we maintained a long distance e-mail contact (I am in Seattle),and I always enjoyed his updates about his family. It served to emphasized to me the importance his family was to Frank.
Frank befriended me on several occasions. When I was new to the job and visiting NYC for the first time, Frank showed me around a bit. We could always laugh when we realized we were taking ourselves too seriously. I recall telling Frank about my schedule with meetings on Wall Street followed by meetings at 59th St, separated by only 10-15 minutes. He quickly corrected my impression of the size of Manhattan, even after I insisted my meetings were only about 1 inch apart on the map.
I know your loss is greater than mine: you lost a husband and father, but I lost a dear friend.
WARM REGARDS AND BEST OF WISHES,
Mitchell R Day

Dear Barbara and family,
Everyone loved Frank and we will always covet special memories of you and Frank during St. Francis years and our early marriage years.
Thankfully we got together for an earlier Alpha Kappa Psi reunion and missed you both at the last one, when Frank was not feeling well.
You and your family are in our thoughts and prayers.
Love, Marianne and Bob

My deepest condolences to Frank's family. The first time I met Frank was at the first AKPsi reunion a number of years ago. I introduced myself to him and told him how I always enjoyed the articles in American Banker in which he was quoted. It turned out Frank covered the bank I was then working at. I did see him occasionally after the reunion at several bank investor conferences and always enjoyed talking with him.
