Shannon, Siri Marie (nee Melville), 93, of Woodbury, passed away peacefully on July 21, 2017 surrounded by her family. “It’s make believe ballroom time.” Secretary for Syosset School District for many years. Beloved wife of the late Edward who passed away at age 57. Dear companion to Vincent McDonough for 30 years. Loving mother of Edward, Dennis (May), Brian (Lisa) and Nancy (Frank) Yodice. Cherished grandmother of 8 and great-grandmother of 1. Devoted sister to Teresa Catallo. Visitation Monday 2-4 & 7-9 PM at M.A. Connell Funeral Home, 934 New York Ave., Huntington Station. Funeral Mass Tuesday 9:45 AM at St. Patrick’s Church, Huntington. Interment to follow at Pinelawn Memorial Park, Pinelawn. In lieu of flowers, memorial donations made to: VNS Hospice of Suffolk, 505 Main St., Northport, NY 11768.
