My heart is beside its self. I came from bad situation. You always included me . I could talk to you. You would yell at me as if I was your own. I wanted so badly to be in your family. You never judged me. I was so envious of your kids. You were the mom I would dream of but never had. I will always cherish my memories of you. Making us fold mounds of laundry, cleaning the kitchen.Grilling us about taking your cigarettes, if we torched warren. You we nobonsense, but bever showed that you minded taking and putting up with a wayward girl like me. As simple as that might sound, was gold to a girl that never had a mom or a family that gave a dam. Nothing i could post nor the tears down my face could express the foot prints you made on this heart after all these years! Lady B, god has a special place and duty for you when you get there! S U Double L I van spells Sulu an❤️

My Mom, my best friend, I will miss you every day until we meet again. My heart is broken that you are no longer by our side, but thankful you are no longer in pain. I will always remember what you taught me, first and foremost, that you cannot worry about what you cannot change, and secondly, when life is hard and when in despair, remember This Too Shall Pass.
I know I always thanked you for all these lessons and words of wisdom, and I instilled them in my children. In this time of deep sadness, the one thing that gives me solace is that I know you are with all who had been called home before you and they all greeted you with loving arms. God Bless My Mom, My Best Friend. Until we meet again, Beatrice.

With complete sadness in my heart I have to post that my mom Beatrice Sullivan was called home to heaven on July 19, 2017.She was survived by my father Warren Sullivan. She was the mother of 6 children, 14 grandchildren and 9 great-grandchildren. Her death will leave a void in our hearts forever. My mom was my hero, everything good in me I learned from her. First and foremost she taught me how to be a mom. So many times I would say to myself if she could do it with 6 kids, I could do it with 3 kids. I would call her daily for advice. I still to this day don’t know how she did it. She was so much more than just a stay at home mom. She was our Brownie leader, Girl Scout leader and Cadet Leader .She taught religious education. She even was PTA president! Our house growing up was the house that all the kids in neighborhood gathered at. Like 6 kids weren’t enough. They would even take extra kids on our yearly vacation to Shelter Island, she would say what are a couple of extra kids going to hurt. Many of our childhood still stop by to visit and called her Mom. She taught me how to be a grandma .I gave her, her first grandchild. She told me at the time it was the greatest gift of her life. That followed by 13 more grandchildren. She gave each and everyone one of them that special grandma time. I think each one thought they were her favorite. She took them to the park, the county fairs, movies, Florida and trips to Disney. On any given night she could have 3 or 4 of them for a sleep over. My mom gave me the love of entertaining. Growing up all the holidays, the family gatherings were at our house. We would have big parties with my mom doing all the cooking herself. She taught me the love of gardening. I got my green thumb from her. My mom till the day she died loved her flowers. She taught me if you wanted something fixed, fix it yourself or marry a man who could fix it for you. My mom taught me how to love unconditionally, through sickness and health, richer or poorer, till death does us part. She taught be how to be a strong woman. My mom was the strongest person I ever knew. She was a warrior over the past 10years. She never gave into her illness, never complained, and only worried about everyone else. Now more the ever I need to find her strength to get through this time without her love and guidance.
