Rita Vuolo ( nee Davide ) of Melville, New York (formerly of Valley Stream and Brooklyn, New York. Passed while on vacation with her family in Croatia on August 16, 2016, five days short of her 91st birthday. Devoted wife of the late Pat. She was the beloved mother of Diane Gilbert and Marie Vuolo.Cherished Nana of Jason Gilbert, Lisa Gilbert and Alex Gilbert. Loving Mother-in-law to Howard Gilbert and Andrew Murray. Adored sister of Rosemary Scaduto, Donald Davide and the late Carl Davide. Her wit, intelligence and warm-heartedness were active until her last breath and though she will be terribly missed, her family and friends take consolation in the fact that Rita is now with her dear husband, Pat.
