Holden, Karen Rogers, of Huntington, taken senselessly on June 26, 2016 by an alleged drunken driver. Dedicated longtime Registered Nurse at St. Francis Hospital. Loving wife of William. Proud mother of Kenneth (Cynthia) and Robert. Cherished daughter of the late Louise Falco, Richard Rogers and his wife Kathie. Adored sister of Lynne Pallmeyer (John), Kristen Anderson (Ryan) and William Rogers (Ally). Beloved aunt of Audrey Pallmeyer. Also survived by her dearest friends Janet, Jackie, Jane, Joanne, Terry, Cathy and cousin Liisa. Karen was especially loved by Ellen, Jane, Lucy (Mike), Clare (Peter), Julie (Tony) and her many nieces and nephews. Visitation Wednesday 7-9 PM and Thursday 2-4 & 7-9 PM at M.A. Connell Funeral Home, 934 New York Ave., Huntington Station. Funeral Mass Friday 10:45 AM at St. Patrick’s Church, Huntington. In lieu of flowers donations to The Huntington Community First Aid Squad will be appreciated by the family.
