I was very sorry to hear of moms passing. She was a very extra special woman. I always enjoyed talking with her , her wit, charm and humor was second to none, I pray God will give the strength to the family to work thru the loss . I will always remember the beauty and kindness she always showed me. May she rest in peace

Jackie was my aunt and, although I grew up in Kentucky, far away from the family homestead in Huntington Station, we stayed in touch over the years. I always appreciated her sharp wit and excellent sense of humor. My mother talked of Aunt Jackie often, always with a smile on her face as she recalled the warm memories of growing up in a large family.
With Jackie's passing, it is worth remembering that she and her siblings were born of humble immigrant parents who came to this country with little more than hope for a better life. Jackie and her brothers and sisters turned this hope into reality as she and her siblings became part of this country's "greatest generation." Her six brothers served with distinction during World War II and successive generations have upheld the family tradition of love of country. While we mark Jackie's passing with sadness, it is also with pride and deep appreciation for how she and her family lived their lives and sacrificed for the common good. Our thoughts are with Jackie's family during this time of transition.
