GANDER - Lauren, passed away unexpectedly on October 8th at the age of 57. Laurie was the loving wife of Joe, mother of JJ and Tori, daughter of Nancy and Gerard Gruebel and sister of Susan and David. Lauren was born on May 22, 1958 in Huntington, NY. She attended Harborfields High School and graduated from St. Joseph's College with a B.A. in Child Study. She was a dedicated and hardworking Vice President of Sales in the swimwear industry for over 35 years. Visitation will be held at M.A. Connell Funeral Home, 934 New York Ave. Huntington Station, from 6-9pm on Tuesday. Funeral services will be held at 10am on Wednesday at Our Lady Queen of Martyrs in Centerport, NY.
