Schumann, Christine V., 50, of Escondido, CA formerly of Melville, passed suddenly on October 4, 2015. Beloved wife of Dr. Richard J. Schumann, Jr. Loving mother of Lauren and Kevin Abbazia. Cherished daughter of Denise and the late John Flynn. Dear sister of Suzanne, Terrence and the late Sean. Adored aunt to many nieces and nephews. Christine was an exceptional loving and caring nurse for over 30 years and loved cooking and quilting. Visitation M.A. Connell Funeral Home, 934 New York Ave., Huntington Station. Mass St. Elizabeth’s Church, Melville, Saturday 9:30 AM. Cremation Private. In lieu of flowers memorial donations may be made to Little Shelter Animal Rescue & Adoption Center, 33 Warner Road, Huntington, NY 11743-5918.
