Gritzka, Walter E., 73, of Centerport, passed away peacefully with his family by his side on August 8, 2015. A proud veteran of the US Air Force. Loving husband of Janet S. Gritzka (nee Semple) for 49 years. Cherished brother of June Liardi and brother-in-law Jay. Uncle of Jason, Jesse and Jayme. Great-uncle of Aidan and Caelyn. Visitation Tuesday 2-4 & 7-9 PM at M.A. Connell Funeral Home, 934 New York Ave., Huntington Station. Funeral Service Wednesday 10 AM at the Funeral Home. In lieu of flowers, memorial donations made to: Wounded Warrior Project http://www.woundedwarriorproject.org/ in Walter’s name would be greatly appreciated.
