WHITING - Josephine, neeTrapani, of Huntington Station, originally of Brooklyn, on November 26, 2011. Beloved wife of the late Joseph R. Loving mother of Joseph M., the late Aimee and step mother of Joseph R. Cherished grandmother of two. Beloved aunt to numerous nieces and nephews. Survived and predeceased by many loving cousins. Namesake of The Josephine Whiting Alumni Award at SUNY Farmingdale. Graduate of Adelphi University. Visitation Wednesday 2-4 and 7-9 PM at M.A. Connell Funeral Home, 934 New York Ave., Huntington Station. Funeral Mass Thursday 10:45 AM at St. Patrick's Church, Huntington. Interment to follow at St. Patrick's Cemetery, Huntington. In lieu of flowers memorial donations may be made to the St. Jude Children's Research Hospital , in Josephine's name.
