SAPUTO - Robert Salvatore, 89, of Huntington, formerly of Flushing, on November 23,2011. U.S. Army Veteran of WWII. Beloved father of Marc (Cindy) and Janine (Mike) Fryer. Cherished grand-father of Jonathon, Brianna and Nicholas. Devoted brother of Jack. Caring uncle to many nieces and nephews. Visitation was Sunday from 6-9 pm at M.A. Connell Funeral Home, 934 New York Ave., Huntington Station. Services are Monday 9 AM at St. John's Episcopal Church, Cold Spring Harbor. The family is requesting memorial donations to the American Lung Association in Robert's memory.
