DeANGELIS - Albert, 85 of Melville on August 8, 2011. Devoted husband of 61 years to Evelyn. Loving father of Jane Cooke, Judy Sklover and Anne D'Addario. Grandfather of Andrew, Ethan, Samantha, Hannah, Holly and Jack. Albert was the National Display Director for JC Penney for 35 years. He was a proud Navy Veteran and recipient of the Purple Heart. Visitation Wednesday 2-4 and 7-9 PM, M.A. Connell Funeral Home, 934 New York Avenue, Huntington Station. Mass Thursday 9:30 AM, St. Elizabeth's Church, Melville. In lieu of flowers the family is asking for donations to be made to the VA Palliative Care Unit at Northport VA Hospital,79 Middleville Road, Northport, NY 11768, att: Maryanne Tierney.
