DOLE - Edward S., 82, of Huntington, on January 25, 2011. Ex-Chief of the Huntington Fire Department and an avid sailor for over 50 years. Beloved husband of Vera. Loving father of Dulcie McCurry (Bill), Edward Jr., John M. (Louise), Susan Roethel, Laurie Roethel (Mark), Joshua M. Redick (Kim) and Robert R. Redick (Judy). Adoring grandfather of 11. Visitation at M.A. Connell Funeral Home, 934 New York Ave., Huntington Station, Saturday 7-9 PM and Sunday 2-4 and 7-9. Firematic Service on Sunday at 8 PM. A service will be held at the Funeral Home on Monday at 11 AM. Interment at HuntingtonRural Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, donations made be made to the American Cancer Society .
