DeSANTI - Vincent, 87, of Halesite on October 27, 2010. 1942 Graduate of Brooklyn Tech H.S., WWII Merchant Marine Veteran and previous owner of Williamsburg Metal Stamping & Spinning. Vincent was honored for being a generous philanthropist for the Settlement House in Brooklyn, and also co-founder of the L.I. chapter of Brooklyn Tech Alumni and member of Knights of Columbus. Beloved husband of Lucia. Loving father of Vincent (Marie), Thomas (Deborah), Robert,Kathryn (Steve), Mark (Jillian) and Arlene. Cherished grandfather of 10. Adored great-grandfather of 6. Visitation Friday 2-5 & 7-9:30 PM at M.A. Connell Funeral Home, 934 New York Avenue, Huntington Station. Mass Saturday 9:30 AM, St. Patrick's Church, Huntington. Interment St. Patrick's Cemetery, Huntington. In lieu of flowers: Memorial contributions may be made to the L.I. Alumni Assoc. of Brooklyn Tech H.S., 3615 Manchester Road, Wantagh, NY 11796 c/o A. Kettenbeil.
