PHILLIPS - George H. Jr., lifetime resident of Huntington, on March 31, 2014. Owner of George H. Phillips Plumbing and Heating in Huntington, which was established by his father over 100 years ago. He was a Air Force Veteran who served in the Pacific during World War II. Beloved husband of Edna for 68 years. Loving father of Diane Murphy (Frank), Gay Knox (Robert) and the late Susan Grote (Herbert). Cherished grandfather of 10 and great-grandfather of 12. Visitation Thursday 2-4 & 7-9 PM at M.A. Connell Funeral Home, 934 New York Ave., Huntington Station. Funeral Mass Friday 10:30 AM at St. Hugh's Church, Huntington Station.
