Prominent Conservative Republican, member of the First Suffolk County Legislature, long time member of the Huntington Zoning Board of Appeals and Vice Chairman of the Huntington Republican Party. Graduate of Niagra University and Fordham Law School. Survived by his second wifeElizabeth and his three sons,Peter, Thomas and Lawrence Jr. Cherished grandfather of Kenny, Katrina, Kassandra, Kayvanna, Kiana and Madison Shea. Dear step-father of Angie D. and Michelle Sosa (Frankie) and their children Zoey and Dominic. Avid golfer and senior member of the Huntington Crescent Club. Visitation Tuesday August 27, 2013 from 2-4 and 7-9 PM at M.A. Connell Funeral Home, 934 New York Ave., Huntington Station. Funeral Mass Wednesday August 28, 2013 at 9:45 AM at St. Patrick's Church, Huntington.
